Please read the terms carefully, once you have paid the booking fee, you are agreeing to these terms listed below.
Payments
A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date.
The remaining balance is due once all work is complete and before anything is delivered or collected.
Some invoices are to be paid in full - your invoice will state this. If you have been asked to pay in full, this is non-refundable. Your wedding date will not be secure until this payment is made. By paying the booking fee, you are agreeing to the terms listed here. If you decide to cancel the order or your wedding for any reason at all, you are agreeing to forfeit this booking fee. If you decide to cancel the order once work has commenced/finished you are still required to pay the full balance. Work can commence at any time after the booking fee is paid. Any refunds given will only be returned to the card used to pay. Bank transfers are preferable but other forms of payment can be discussed. All charges will be made via invoice. All payments must be paid within 7 days of invoicing.
Delivery, postage & packaging
All care has been taken to secure your items during transport but once your items have been shipped, I can no longer take responsibility for the safety of your items or if they are delayed or lost. All items are sent signed for and tracked. Insurance on your items are up to £100. If you wish to insure your items to the fullest amount, then please do let me know and I can increase the delivery fees - these will range from anywhere between an additional £10 - £100 (depending on the weight and value of the parcel).
Please make sure the delivery address given is correct, this will be the only address used to post your items to. If you move address or need to send to a different address, please let me know a week prior to the dispatch date agreed. If your parcel arrives damaged, the insurance will cover everything and I will create and post out a new item for you (within a reasonable time frame), this may mean collection is necessary if we don't have time to post out again. All items are posted 2 weeks prior to the wedding day to account for any issues that may arise. If your items are not insured to the fullest amount, you are liable to pay for the item and postage again.
General
If your numbers change and I have already ordered supplies then you may be subject to extra costs for getting the extra materials ordered in. I have many couples requesting the same dates and it is on a first come first serve basis. Your date and items are not secure until the non refundable booking fee is paid. Even if quotes have been sent out and emails have been exchanged. Materials will also not be ordered until the booking fee is paid. Delay in payment may cause a delay in materials being ordered and a delay in receiving your items.
I have a minimum spend of £400 (not including delivery), your total order may not dip below this threshold, so at times, it is not possible to remove items. Your order may not go below the 50% non-refundable payment made as refunds cannot be given.
Under no circumstances are you permitted to sell any signage, calligraphy or artwork on after use without my permission. Please get in touch if you would like to request a re-sell. All artwork and rights belong to Bewilderly. Regardless of whether the items are personalised or not. Legal action will be taken if any items are found to be sold on without my written permission. Please check with me if you wish to change materials, occasionally it is possible. You cannot change materials after 13 weeks prior to the wedding/event date. If you wish to change after this date, there will be extra costs. You may incur extra charges for rush delivery or packaging costs. It is your responsibility to provide your guest lists and all on the day details by the deadline given to you, which is 7 weeks prior to the wedding/event date. Any big changes or details provided late may incur a rush charge and might alter the delivery date. It is your responsibility to reply promptly once mock ups have been sent over. I work to a very tight schedule any any excessively late replies can delay your order. Please triple check all spelling on your wording and guest lists when they are sent to me. I am not liable for spelling mistakes or grammar errors. If work has commenced and a mistake is noticed by me or you then you will be liable to pay for extra materials if it cannot be amended. The final piece that will be painted, will be based off the mock up designs sent over (not the original wording provided by you), so please check your mock ups over thoroughly before confirming I can go ahead. Once the mock ups have been approved, it is not usually possible to amend details, but get in touch and I can do my best to help. Your mock up designs are computer generated, due to the nature of hand painted signs, your items will not look exactly the same as the mock up. If I am handwriting items for you where you are supplying the materials, then I require 20%-25% extra materials (amount is tbc depending on the complexity of the item). I am only human and unfortunately, mistakes do happen. I am happy to accept last-minute additions dependent on how busy I am. Please get in touch if you need something quickly. Last-minute orders will incur a rush fee. Due to the nature of calligraphy and that every item is handmade, there will always be slight variations in pieces. Bewilderly retains all rights to any artwork and design. Any reproduction of artwork is prohibited unless given written permission from Bewilderly. You are not permitted to sell or re-sell any items after purchase without my knowledge. Depending on the item and item condition, I may be able to help, but please do get in touch. Bewilderly reserves the right to use images and samples of your stationery and signage for portfolio and marketing purposes. This includes photographing and using them on this website and all social media platforms. If you do not want me to use your samples then please let us know. Late payment may delay your signage & stationery, nothing will be posted out until the final payment is made. Late fees will apply.
Postponements & cancellations
I offer postponements free of charge within 6 months of the original wedding date, your booking fee can simply be carried over, however this will be subject to availability. Any postponements that are over 6 months are incurring a 20% total order increase fee. Any postponements that are over 1 year are incurring a 25% total order increase fee. Any postponements that are over 1 year and 6 months are incurring a 40% total order increase fee.
If you decide to go ahead with your wedding, but at a very reduced number (due to government guidelines), as long as your total order value does not go below the non refundable booking fee or the £400 minimum spend, then this is fine. Your final invoice will be amended to suit your total amount of guests. If your total order value goes below the non refundable booking fee, no money can be given back. If you decide to cancel your wedding completely (instead of postpone) there will be no refund and you may be liable to pay the whole fee agreed depending on how last minute the cancellation is. Additions can be made up to three weeks prior to delivery/collection, subject to availability. These will be billed in full. There is no refund on additional items.
